The Amelie Art Room is a innovative gallery format that unravels the codes of contemporary art and gives new life to the traditional galleries often perceived by art lovers as too intimidating. It is to invite curious passers-by that Amelie du Chalard has launched a Mini Room, open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday. This space is home to small formats, art objects and design at low prices, from 150 €.
This annex, adjacent to the Art Room, was also designed by architects Batiik Studio. Like its big sister, the Mini Room conveys a homy and cosy atmosphere. The polished rosewood concrete floor responds to the exposed stone wall covered with works. Two works in situ by Nadine de Garam and Delphine de Luppé compose an artistic language that punctuates the walls. Finally, two spectacular glass doors with a wooden frame delimit the space adopting m the codes of its neighbour Art Room.
With a keen eye, over the course of her encounters and her discoveries, Amélie du Chalard spots the works of artists and designers who come to take their place in the heart of the 9th district, 6-8 rue Clauzel, in the Art Room like in the Mini Room.
La Mini Art Room Amelie à Paris est située entre la rue des Martyrs et la Place Saint-Georges.
Ouverte du mardi au samedi, de 9h à 19h.
