Antoine Henault

Antoine Henault is a french photographer based in Paris but always happy to discover an elsewhere. His pictorial universe is built in answer to the nature where he grew up and which remains his main source of inspiration. Graphic and sensory, his work celebrates the intimate connection between beings and their environment, looking for a reenchantment through contemplation. He regularly collaborates with fashion, music and press and was awarded by Paolo Roversi for the Picto prize in 2022.

Antoine Henault is a colorist. This color acts as a sensory memory and invokes radiant perceptions. It is a question of “feeling” the taste, the texture, and the smell of the colors. 

His photographs, frequently cut out by the sun, illustrate the nostalgia of the light, the torpor of an afternoon, shade and rest, but also fruits and flowers. 

The near and the distant are treated with intimacy and benevolence, in a search for spontaneous wonder, as the testimony of a state of sweetness. Captured in the diversity of landscapes and beings he encounters, his images narrate a harmonized world, haloed with tranquility.
