Jacques Salles

Jacques Salles

Between hands

"With his calm and dreamy air Jacques Salles brings, where he passes by, poetry and sweetness.

Located in Isle sur la Sorgue, this former engineer who worked on the construction of bridges, dam, factories, keeps his head forever in the stars. Trees, foliage, clouds, make him dream and his technical skill encourages him to reproduce elements of this nature that he admires.

Very much in the movement of the American sculptor Calder, who first assembled forms animated by movements of the air, he works, in the secret of his workshop, what Marcel Duchamp had called "the sublimation of a tree in the wind ".
