Stephen Maine (born 1958) is an abstract painter, writer, curator and American professor. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York and Cornawall, Connecticut.
Maine graduated in painting from Indiana University in Bloomington. He graduated from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Visual Arts in 2014. From 2006 to 2016, he taught fine arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
